Common Remedies for Skin Boils

Are you suffering from red lumps that look like pimples? Are these lumps more painful than pimples? If you do, then you might be suffering from boils. They are bacterial infections and are filled with pus. It may not be necessary to call your doctor when you got this, but you essentially have to know its remedies.

There are common treatments for boils which one can prefer:

Heat application.
It is one of the remedies for boils and it is done through heat packs and warm water. This increases the circulation and helps the antibodies to get to the site of infection.

Draining the pus.
It should be done in a sanitized manner.

Taking anti-biotic.
This remedy is very effective since antibiotics fight the bacterial infection. However, in some cases, it is not needed much.

A bacon place over the affected area over night and the next day, boil might have lanced itself.

Put white paste over the boil and let it stay for a night.

Hot glass bottle applied around the area for 5-10 minutes. It may include garlic, onion and parsley.

Mix milk cream with vinegar and apply it to the affected area.

Warm Water is also a mild form of boils remedy. This helps the pus to pull to the skin surface, making the skin soft so it will drain effectively. Once the pus is drained, the boils should be flattened. This way, it can be cleansed with warm water and anti bacterial soap to prevent further infection to happen. Anti-biotic ointments may be reapplied to the drained area until it becomes completely healed. It should also be covered by clean bandage dressing.

Vitamins and Minerals Supplementation
Intake of foods rich in Vitamin C can boost the immune system to prevent risk of boils. Magnesium and Zinc combined are also effective. This can be applied directly as an ointment or oral supplement and can be helpful for the first 12 hours of boil eruption to provide relief.
